As a puppet[]
Ernie is an orange Muppet puppet. He has a tuft of black hair and a red nose. His mouth is red and his pink tongue is visible. Ernie has arm sockets where his puppeteer can control his hands. He also lacks visible legs since that is where his puppeteer's hand slips in to control him.
Ernie wears a red long-sleeved shirt with dark blue stripes (with yellow and white outlining them) and yellow collars.
